Meet Pastor Matthew Kofahl:
I became the pastor of Hope Church in 2012 and in that time I’ve been stretched and challenged by the reality of being the church in our time and in our community. I love our church and I love the United Methodist Church. I am a life-long United Methodist, growing up nearby in Niagara Falls. I graduated Houghton College, attended Asbury Theological Seminary and finally graduated from Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School in 2012.
I am passionate about the ministry and mission of Hope Church. I have a desire to see the Gospel succeed in our community because I believe it the hope of the community and the world.
In addition to to my work at Hope, I also serve as pastor of St. James United Methodist Church in Niagara Falls. I enjoy hiking and being outdoors.
